ORIENTATION PROGRAM-ISC COEDUCATION and INTEGRATED.

An Orientation Program for students of class 10 was conducted on 23rd October 2024 from 9 a.m. at the Mary Immaculate Hall. The session commenced with an address by Fr. Yohan followed by an address by Father Jude emphasizing the importance of making the right subject choices and career paths and introducing the students to the ISC Coeducation Integrated Curriculum.

The speakers of the session were Ms. Neepa Shah (Head of Pace Pan India) and Mr. Dhaval Gandhi (Director PDLearning Curve). The speakers enlightened the students about the Integrated Curriculum being offered at St. Mary’s highlighting the advantages of being able to avail learning opportunities outside while studying in   familiar surroundings in the security of the school campus. The speakers also spoke about   career options for students pursuing both the Science and Commerce streams. It was mentioned that ISC curriculum was superior to the Curriculum of the State Board as a much of the syllabus in the Science and Commerce streams were covered by the ISC curriculum. Also a National Board is recognized abroad and would help in admissions to foreign Universities. It was promised that process of admissions abroad would   be handled at school.

In conclusion, the speakers emphasized the importance of discipline and dedication along with inculcating the reading habits in students in order to fulfill their dreams.

The program ended with a Question and Answer session where students clarified doubts.

It was an interesting and enlightening program which enriched the students with information and knowledge. Many students seemed to show an inclination to join the St. Mary’s ISC Integrated Progam.
